What Causes Pain Under The Rib Cage And Back After Gallbladder Removal?

I have had my gallbladder that had cysts on it removed along with my appendix that was extremely large 25 cm long that was attached to my bowel and up into my liver 5 weeks ago, I m still having stich like pain under my rib cage and through to my back on the right side, is this still healing?? Or something else??

it may be postoperative abscess and you should do ultrasound to rule this out. Also,pancreatitis may develop after chilecystectomy and pancreas markers should be checked as well.
