What Causes Pain Under The Rib Cage And Right Arm?
I m a 57 year old male and woke up with a pain similar to a side ache you get when running. Just under the rib cage almost under my right arm. Tender to press, not tender to press when I tighten my stomach muscle. Could this simply be a side ache right now?

For that ibuprofen 200 mg BD can be prescribed for five days
Hot compress can be applied over tender area
Avoid strenous activities for few days
Avoid bad sleep posture while sleeping
Take rest for few days
If no improvement then USG scan done for further work up
