What Causes Pain Under The Rib Cage On The Right Side?

I am experiencing pain periodically. Back right side under rib cage. I do have an ulcer on that side and am taking two meds for it. It feels like a knot and is tender to touch. I have a pillow to make it more uncomfortable. It starts near the right rib area then goes totally to back area. I am urinating frequently and not always a lot.

Experiencing pain below the rib cage on the right side could be possibly due to liver and gall bladder disorders.
Kindly get the following investigations done to know about the cause for it.
1. Liver function test (LFT) in blood sample.
2. Ultrasound scan of abdomen.
Kindly consult Surgeon with the reports for clinical evaluation and management.
