General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You can have enterocolitis or diverticulitis like infective aetiology. For that, you can be prescribed an empirical antibiotic course for five days.

Maintain hydration with lots of water. It's advisable to take probiotic tablet also for a few days. If no improvement than stool routine micro examination should be done for further work up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
