General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely esophagitis due to gastroesophageal reflux. If you were my patient i would treat with proton pump inhibitors like rabeprazole and motility agents like domperidone for 2 weeks and vitamin C chewable tablets. Eat small meals at short intervals. Avoid spicy, greasy, fried and fatty foods. Don't lie down just after meals. Give at least 1 to 2 hours before sleeping. Hope this may help you.Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
