What Causes Pain Under The Right Rib Cage And Constipation?

I fell five days ago and awoke to excruciating pain in my right ribs. It is painful to breathe, cough, sneeze, and walk. The pain has subsided some, but I have been constipated. taking a deep breath has become easier, but I still have to watch how i move. I was able to pass a small amount of stool(looks like pit-sized balls), but noticed and orangish hue in the toilet water. There has been no blood in my urine, either.

Hello,

As you said a history of fall as well as constipation, I have to suspect it may be due to injury as well as problems like liver disorder or gall stones.

So, I would like to give you some diagnostic tests which can give us some clues and any doctor can narrow down your problem and give you a definite treatment.

Thus, I would like to give a couple of diagnostic tests:

1. Chest X-ray
2. Whole ABdomen USG
3. Complete Blood Test
4. Liver Function Tests
5. Kidney Function Tests
6. Serum Amylase

I would also like to ask you:

1. Is there any nausea or vomiting?
2. Do you feel burning sensation in the chest or just below the chest?
3. Is there any cough or sputum coming from your mouth?

I feel too much pain, you can take Ibuprofen at this time.
