What Causes Pain Underneath At The Base Of My Penis?
i felt a little pain underneath at the base of my penis when i lie down face up. Its been a week now and sometimes i get strange vibration too. There s no pain when lie down other postion, even sitting but walking sometimes. No pain during urinating or erection. Ejaculation not check yet but my last one before this happened was ok. I also had gone through a major cervical Op in April and now having hospitalisation leave at home. Hope you could enligten me on this. Thank you.
The possible cause of pain underneath the base of penis could be retained semen inside the vesicles with prolong withheld of semen and then getting sex arousal causing congestion of prostatic and pelvic splanchnic vessels dilatation. However, must consult your urologist and get checked for any secondary nerve involvement from previous spine surgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
