What Causes Pain Upon Pressure After A Loud Snap Of Wrist?
Good afternoon,
I was twisting my wrist and pulling up to open a sharps container lid when I heard a loud snap in my wrist. It was sore for a few days and then seemed to be okay. However, it aches when I put pressure on it now (crawling around on the carpet after my infant daughter). Do you think this is something that will heal on its own if I give it time or do I need to see someone about it?
Hello sarah greetings welcome to HCM I am Dr BR Hudda answering your question
You might have hurt your wrist while an attempt to open the container
It could be a tendinitis or muscle spam that i am sure, will heal on it own
you need not to worry you cam apply hot packs and go for physiotherapy for ultrasonic or infra red radiation for faster recovery avoid putting pressure on it
hope this addresses your query thanks for your question you can ask a direct question to me for further clarification I will be happy to help you
good luck have a nice day
