What Causes Pain Upon Pressure On Red Spot On Foot?

Something heavy felt on my baby son s left feet (i can see a small red spot on cuneiform level of his feet). He doesn t have pain but he walks akwardly. I pushed with my finger the red spot and he felt pain... i went to emergency here in sweden but they told me it s nothing (they gave me this conclusion without x-ray!). What should i do?

Hi,

I would advise you to apply a crepe bandage and give some rest to the foot. Your son could be walking awkwardly due to the pain over the area due to contusion caused by the injury. Wait for the pain to subside slowly. You can give him paracetamol syrup if the pain is more.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
