What Causes Pain While Swallowing?

I got a very large pill caught in my throat. since then my left gland under my neck has been sore and swollen. has been very painfull when swallowing. I am boarding a flight for a wedding and doctor cant get me in before I leave. Help. i am in very good health. have not had a cold or been sick with flu. am on no meds.

It seems to me that you have got chemical burn because of the drug that stuck in your esophagus and remained there for some time.

You don't need to worry, the dysphagia will be over with days and you will feel better.
During mean time you can opt for liquid or semi solid diet.

You can also take pantoprozol 40mg once daily for 10 days in morning empty stomach.
