What Causes Painful Abdominal Cramps During Bowel Movement?

Hi Im a 29year old female,i get these painful cramps just before i fart,i will have these cramps until i i triggers me too go stool,it seems like when most off stool is out,i will find relief,until next time again,had it for a some time now,but now it seems like the pain is getting worse now,please help.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of painful abdominal cramps during bowel movement . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like food poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome , gastroenteritis , medication reaction or side-effect , hyperthyroidism. Need not to worry. For now eat small and frequent meals and take anaspas for pain. You should take plenty of fluids and add fibrous food to your diet . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may examined completely, will take history and order ultrasound and stool test. Doctor may prescribe antiviral or antibacterial depending upon the diagnosis along with loperamide , analgesic or omeprazole. Also apply warm compresses to abdomen.
