Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello I am a 67 year old woman who does not take any drugs and is very healthy. I all of a sudden have brown urine and it stinks to high heaven -- reminds me when I had periods the last or tail end. I had a bit of discharge several months ago and it went away the next day. Now, it has not gone away. I am wondering what is going on? I do not have any pain when I urinate but my veginia is red and painful.
Do a complete blood cell count and urine sample test with microscopic examination. After urine culture test if infection is present than start proper antibiotics under doctor's suggestion .
Maintain proper hygiene. Drink more water per day. Avoid spicy foods and alcohol drinking. Frequent urination. Wear a loose clothes and avoid tight clothes.
I hope my guidance helpful to you.. Take care. Thank you.
