What Causes Painful And Scanty Urination During Pregnancy?

Hello doctor! I m currently 8 weeks pregnant and when I pee, it s too scanty and last time it was painful but now it s not. My doctor ordered lab tests and in my urine sediment the leukocytes is 10-15. She said that my urine is ok. But as what I ve known, it s something to be concerned of. What is your advise doctor? And my hemoglobin is 7.6 mmol/L. Thank you so much!

HI , thanks for using healthcare magic

Your hemoglobin level is too low, especially in pregnancy. That would need to be rectified by supplements as soon as possible. Low hemoglobin can affect growth. The level can be increased by treatment.

Leukocytes can be present in the urine during pregnancy. If your doctor sent the urine to the lab, they would have looked for bacteria in the urine. If no bacteria is present, then there is no infection present.

I hope this helps
