What Causes Painful Blisters On The Lips?

i have had sore, blistered, extremely dry and sometimes swollen lips for over 4 months now. The swelling has been severe at times, but the painful blisters are the worse. I ve tried antibiotics, steroids, anti-fungal.. I also have had upeer resp. symptoms and a sore throat.

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of herpes labialis is more.
It is viral infection. Your upper respiratory tract symptoms are also favouring herpes infection more.
So better to consult Dermatologist and get done clinical examination of lesions.
You have not taken anti viral and this is the reason you are not improving since four months.
You will mostly improve with acyclovir tablet 200 mg five times a day. Along with this, also take pregabalin and methycobalamime combination.
Apply ice packs on affected areas.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
