Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Pain during the passing of stools may be due to fissure or fistulas or due to anal sphincter spasm etcetera. The mucosal abrasion or tears also may cause this problem.
Avoid spicy food and alcohol, take a high fiber diet and drink plenty of water. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.
If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor. He will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
