General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is possible that you have an abscess forming. I would suggest you go to your healthcare provider for a course of antibiotics. If it is fluctuant, they may even evacuate it for you. In the meantime, you can take paracetamol for the pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
