What Causes Painful Bump On Mons Pubic?

Hi doctor, I have a pimple or bump on my right side of my mons pubis, it s painful, and it bleeds most of the time even when I don t pick at it. Sometimes when I pick at it, white stuff comes out. It s been maybe a month now and the bump still hasn t gone away. At times that bump/pimple is painful, bleeds and scars. I always put neosporin on it to heal the scar. Nothing happens as it continues to be painful. Please help . Thanks doctor .

I really appreciate your concern, chances of folliculitis could be likely, care need to be taken for pus formation and keep the area clean apply "Povidone Iodine" cream, most of the time it come around on its on, in inflammatory condition "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg" three times in day can be used, else this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
