What Causes Painful Bump On The Head?
My son had a bump on his head, it was able to be felt, it was not red or bleeding but very painful. It almost looked like a slice out of his scalp. It also was very sticky and had looked scaly. Took him to the dr and they didn t seem alarmed. Now my daughter has the exact same thing. What could this be?

It could be a benign(non-cancerous) lump like a lipoma or dermoid. Consult a physician and get evaluated. A fine needle biopsy may be required in case of diagnostic confusion.
