Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Each night the muscles in my calves and feet start firing and several times each night I have to jump out of the bed to stop very painful cramps that occur in lower legs and feet. I have been drinking lots of water, pedialyte, potassium is normal, take vitamins...what can I do to stop these nerve firings and muscle cramps?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to low vitamin d levels in blood. It is better to check your vitamin d3 and b12 levels in blood. Taking supplements of d and vitamin b12 will be helpful. Also wear stockings. Thanks.
