What Causes Painful Crusty Scab In The Navel?
While taking my bath, I discovered a dark crusty scab in my navel.... I tried to scrape it out with my wash rag ...I held warm water on my navel and then poured hydrogen-peroxide in.... no bubbles...(which I always thought was infection)...I couldn t get it all out....my navel was getting sore....what is it ???

Many a time due to its shape and depression having in umbilicus might give rise deposition of dust, perspiration and oily discharge form sweating ducts can cause scab formation.
Due to trying removing scab or crust there might be having soreness.
Nothing to worry, clean the part with warm water gently and apply antibiotic cream for few days.
Afterwards make a habit of cleaning naval while taking shower.
Ok and take care.
