Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Painful Ejaculation, Pain In Urethra, Prostate And Bladder?
I m a 36 yr old male. I have been tested for multiple std s. The tests came back neg. I have pain in my urethra, prostate, bladder area, and have painful ejaculation. It burns something awefull when I urinate. I have very weak stream and dribbling. Also terrible pressure but nothing comes out but a little penile discharge. The pain can double me over. The doctor I saw told me uti in men of my age is very rare and was certain it was std. He was wrong. What does it sound like to you? Uti? Something else? Should I see a different doctor?
From your description, I am of the opinion that two possible causes can be there UTI and Prostatitis. Both can be resolved with the dosage of antibiotics sensitive to it. You should go for Urine microscopy, urine culture, PSA and routine blood tests such as CBC, ESR and CRP. Prostate enlargement would be causing dribbling of urine. So don't worry, have these tests done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
