What Causes Painful Intercourse And Painful Cramps After Intercourse?
Hi, I just had a positive pregnancy test 5 days ago. I am 31 in good health 5th pregnancy. Today during intercourse I stayed to feel some pain and right after had very painful cramping for about 30 minutes. Could this be a miscarriage or indigestion?
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns. You have had pelvic pain after having intercourse. This type of pain is usually due to the fallopian tubes going through spasms. This is not unusual and not associated with miscarriage or other GI disturbances. If you continue to have pain with intercourse you may also have endometriosis and will need additional testing to be sure. Since you are currently pregnant you do not need to be check for endometriosis since pregnancy will reduce the symptoms.
