What Causes Painful Itchy Anus?
I have been suffering recently from an itchy anus with pain sometimes in the same area. On two occassions I have noticed bright red blood on toilet paper after passing stools. I have had both episodes of constipation and diarrhoea, more recently episodes of diarrhoea and this morning after showering my anal area with water I wiped myself with some toilet paper & I noticed a bright red spot of blood. C Could I have piles (haemorrhoids) or should this be a much worse problem? Can you please advise me on this

As per my clinical experience, there can be fissure or hemorrhoid condition giving painful itchy anus with blood.
In our clinic, I confirm the diagnosis with OPD based rectal examination with proctoscope. Till that time, sitz bath and analgesic will give best relief.
