Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Earlier today, I had a bit of pain coming from my anus and as I checked to see what it was, I noticed a lump from the opening of my anus which is quite large (covering most of the anus opening) and I have no clue what it is or if I should see a doctor. I recently had diarrhea and not sure if this is any correlation?
Dear- thanks for using HCM,I will help you with my medical advise. You are describing a lump at the anal opening which most likely is a hemorrhoid. It is part of complications when you have been with multiples diarrhea due to the pushing and irritation of the area. It is also common in severe constipation due to the pressure when need to force bowel movements. It is painful and will need to use hemorrhoid cream or suppository to help the pain and inflammation. You might need to see a doctor if no improvement after 3-5 days. I hope that my advise has been helpful Dr.SAra
