What Causes Painful Lump At The Base Of Earlobe?

Hello. So, I have been regularly and heavily smoking crystal meth since April of 2015. I have noticed that occasionally after using, I will quickly develop a painful lump behind my left ear. Well, from the base of my earlobe, half an inch down, and slightly to the left is where the bump appears. It goes away after a day or so. What is this, why does this happen, and should I be concerned? Thanks

As per your complain it seems like that you have swollen lymph node secondary to inflammation caused by smoking crystal meth..
Firstly I would like to tell you that crystal meth is harmful for health and you should completely stop smoking..
The swollen lymph nodes needs to be treated with anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen or Naproxen and doing cool compresses over the lymph node..
Drink plenty of fluids and take a nutritious diet..
But in case if you do not stop smoking meth the treatment will be useless..
Consult an Addiction medicine specialist so that he can guide you towards proper guidance to withdraw from the addiction..
