Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I injured my right groin doing a workout program called Insanity about 2yrs ago. Every time I go to workout whether it be running or jumping the pain keeps coming back. I found a lump that moves freely and is about the size of a dime. I started doing research and I think its on my adductor longos I think I spelled that right. I m not sure if it is a Sebaceous cyst or something else but if I could treat it what would you recommend?
Welcome at HCM i have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns....... Is the overlying skin red? Any discharge from it? Any lymph node swelling in ur groin? Is it stay same size or increases or decreases? Depending upon mere history , It is difficult to diagnose . it need to be examined first for diagnosis. It could be a lipoma, cyst, or muscle hematoma.... You should meet your doctor so that you can be managed properly.. Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to be relieve pain and don't massage the lump. Hope your query is addressed properly Regards Dr saad sultan
