Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my 17 yr old daughter woke up with pain in the pelvic region. There are two marble sized, hard lumps that are very painful to the touch. It hurts to urinate and the pain has gotten worse throughout the day. Her next menstrual cycle is due to start on Friday, although she is very irregular and the last one she had was 24th of June. The cycle used to be 70-80 days in between and it has gone to 20 - 28 days recently. The pain radiates up and down whenever there is movement. She does not have a fever but she has a headache.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Piyush K's Response
Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern. Headache, pelvis pain and irregular menses mostly point to blood clots/fibroids in uterus. This can be confirmed by doing a transabdominal sonography and follow up with these reports with a gynaecologist. For the headache and abdominal pain plain crocin is advisable for the time being until the result is not confirmed. Thanks and regards. Take care.
