Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 58 years old and noticed something swollen inside my vagina. It is not painful to touch. Could it be hernia? I remember my Mom had her surgery for hernia. Or would it be a tumor? I am going to the walk-in clinic tomorrow morning to have it looked at. Thanks.
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having either prolapse of uterus or prolapse of urinary bladder called Cystocele. Consult Gynaec and get examined. Ultra sound of genital tract will be helpful to rule out any space occupying lesion in genito-urinary tract at this age. Ok and take care.
