What Causes Painful Lump On The Anus?

I woke up with a bump on the rim of my anus and it os very sore. I m a healthy teenager and I rarely get any illnesses. I m very worried that it may be something serious. This bump is pea sized and discolored. I dont want to go to my familt about it because it s a very personal place on my body and I m really embarrased. I would like to just talk to a doctor about it and I can provide a photograph if I have to. I just want to avoid anything less than privacy, please. Thank you!

it may be piles. take sitzbath. have bland diet. apply proctosedylointment per an um. cremafin can be taken at bed time. get examined by surgeon for deciding about surgery or cryosurgery.if sufficient relief by medication then surgery can be delayed.
