Hi,
Noted your history of a
seminoma of testicular type in mediastinum, testes being normal, got operated, no
Chemotherapy or radiotherapy, have painful lump on the left side of solar plexus and tightness in chest.
All your history indicates the following possibility.
The lump is most probably a hernia and needs confirmation by the following ways:
Consult a General Surgeon for proper clinical examination and confirmation by
Ultrasonography whether this is hernia or some lump. If it is a lump then FNAC would be more helpful.
Since so many follow up CT scans are normal the worry is less about a recurrence of Seminoma.
Tightness in chest can be due to cardiac issue, muscular or even
costochondritis. Confirm the problem and get treated as per the cause found.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
