Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doctor, I have been experiencing pain in my right wrist since over 3 years now. Of late, I can feel a painful lump at the end of the wrist (below the little finger), on the palm side. The pain increases every time I do something extensively like - using the laptop, cooking, cleaning etc. with my right hand. X-rays do not show anything different. Please advice.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
If there is painful lump but X-ray do not show anything , then it is a tendon problem. You should visit an orthopaedic surgeon as you need tendon checking. In this case, I will recommend MRI hand as investigation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Varinder Joshi , General & Family Physician
