Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have a lump on my left testicle. It s like a little ball or pea shaped and sized bump. I can feel a spherical shape and the bottom seems attached to the testicle in a way that it seems like you can just cut it off. I can actually feel the bottom of the sphere and its connection to the testicle. It causes pain to my testicle only when I squeeze it. I have no other symptoms.
Painful lump on testicle can be due to infectious cause or some structural issue that might have resulted due to accidental injury. Although it is advisable to seek medical help for it.
After careful examination and history the doctor might suggest you to get a Doppler ultrasound of the testicles done for better understanding. As well as he might ask you to get few blood tests done. For the pain, ibuprofen can be taken till you visit the doctor. Avoid rigorous activities and take sufficient rest. Depending on the cause and your symptoms, you will be prescribed appropriate medicines for fast recovery.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
