What Causes Painful Lump Under Chin?

I noticed s small lump under my chin that hurts whe I touch it. I've been getting acne latest something that growing up I never had a problem with acne. But this doesn't feel like the rest, it feels like a marble moving in one little area but it hurts dremendestly

As per your complain pain and swollen lump below the chin can be due to infection in the sub mental salivary gland present under the chin..

It can occur due to bacterial or viral infection (most common is bacterial infection) which can lead to swelling and pain under the chin..

Other symptoms of infection of salivary gland include foul smelling discharge from the gland..

In advanced conditions it can lead to fever, and weakness.

This is the most common cause for the painful swelling below the chin..

Other reasons can be cysts, tumors and salivary gland duct blockage..

I would suggest you to consult an oral pathologist and get evaluated for the cause of the swelling and treatment is based on the diagnosis..
