What Causes Painful Lump Under Neck Along With Pain In Left Arm?
Yes, thank you. I have a large mass under my neck. I had an ultrasound and was told that the lump had some connection to internal organs and I was sent to undergo an MRi (i was unable to undergo the MRIs due to sever claustrophobia) I had a biopsy a year ago and was told the lump was benign. I had a lot of pain in my neck at that time. I was told it was not connected to the lump/mass. Since that time I have begun to have a great deal of pain in the lump and my left arm and stomach which all seem to be connected. do you have any thoughts on this matter you would share or advice for me?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have enlarged lymphnode, salivary gland pathology or some soft tissue tumor. If MRI is not possible thengo for ultrasound study. It will give you exact location and spread. Go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy again. If lump is benign and surgery is possible then go for surgery to remove the lump. Your pain may be due to neursl entrapment or some other cause. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
