Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my daughter (19) has a painful bump/lump just underneath her left breast. The lump itself is not visible, it can be felt with fingertips and is approximately 3/4 inch in length. The area has some light discoloration. She does not recall running into anything, or any incident that may have caused it. The pain is constant, doesn t come and go. Your thoughts?
A painful lump below the breast along with associated discoloration of overlying skin could be due to trauma. I suggest you to get an ultrasound of the affected breast.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
