What Causes Painful Lumps On The Calf And Pain In The Fingers?
Osteoarthritis is diagnosis dr gave me from blood work as I am inflamed. My fingers hurt. Shoulder joints. Arm muscles. Calves. Lumpy lumps on calf that started out as a small pain; dr says are fat related. Does this seem like a good diagnosis? Fingers numb in morning. Once legs numb. Cd not walk. Could this be something else? I m fifty pounds overweight and losing it now What is pain in calf muscles. Electrolytes seem fine
Your symptoms are suggestive of Inflammatory arthritis more than osteoarthritis. Blood work indicating inflammation, early morning pain and painful lumps on calves are all indication of an Inflammatory arthritis. The painful Lumps you are describing are suggestive of Erythema Nodosum which are inflammatory nodules. Proper treatment of underlying disorder will resolve the pain in joints and also erythema nodosum.
Follow up with your doctor to discuss these possibilities.
Hope I was able to help you Please address any more concerns Regards, Dr.Lekshmi
