What Causes Painful Muscle Contraction Across The Chest And Arms?
I just had an incident where both upper arm muscles (both sides) and the muscles across my chest contracted and froze up. It was painful, kind of a burning pain in my upper arms and chest. I felt a tingling going up my neck. I relaxed my breathing and it went away in about two minutes. This is the second time this has happened, the last episode was about a week ago. It was very scary, I felt like I could not move my arms. I am a 59 year old female.

I really appreciate your concern, it is the panic attack and it may not be due to any pathological condition just try to come out of this and for that be practical and positive have some relaxation therapy I would suggest to have Tab Amitriptyline once in day, and stop worrying hope this information helps.
