What Causes Painful Penis And Erectile Dysfunction?
Hello Doc. Good Morning. I am 24 years of age. I recently experienced a situation where by I had difficulty passing urine due to sharp pain in my penis, and within this period, I could hardly attain or sustain an erection. I practically could not pass urine without pain. And I could not indulge in sex. What could be the cause of this condition?

I can understand your concern. You have pain during micturition and during erections and this should be evaluate properly. If you have any history of unprotected unsafe sexual intercourse then the possibility of any sexually transmitted disease should be ruled out. STDs usually present with pain in penis during urination or erection. Some times UTI or urinary infections also cause pain during erection. Visit a doctor for evaluation and treatment.
Inability to sustain erection is occurring most likely due to pain and relief of pain should improve the erection. If condition doesn't improve then medicines like PDE-5 inhibitors like Sildenafil, Tadalafil can be used. These medicines helps to improve erections and doesn't cause any side effects. Visit a psychiatrist for prescription.
