What Causes Painful Protruding Bone On The Left Ankle?
Left ankle right side bone slightly protruding pain when I put pressure on it in bare feet not so bad with shoes. Very active person I.e golf walking etc. Painful does it sound like a stress fracture but can t understand why the ankle bone protrudes. Thanks Jan

As per my clinical experience, this sounds like a bursa cyst involving the medial side of the ankle joint, rather than a protruding bone. Kindly undertake a prescription of the sonography and X-ray of the ankle joint for clarifying the issue.
