What Causes Painful Pulsations Behind The Head Upon Climbing Stairs?

Hi, lately, when I climb stairs quicker than usual, I sometimes feel NON-painful palpitations in the back of my head (above my neck). When it happened today, my b.p was approx. 158/95 which was taken by the local paramedics whom i phoned. Naturally i m also prone to heart palps. I m concerned re: potential for hemmhoragic stroke, since lately, I m prone to black & blue marks, so I assume my veins have become fragile. I m 56, five-ft. height, approx. 145lb. with severe varicose veins, painful foot issues (neuropathy), scoliosis, slightly elevated ANA. Also a history of fibromyalgia since my teens. For the past several years, I m on Gabapentin 300mg 5x/day which help my headaches.
