What Causes Painful Rash With Itching And Draining Pus On The Butt Cheek?

About twice a year I get a rash on my left butt cheek in almost the same spot every time that is painful all the way around to the front it feels like it is deep down. It is painful to walk the rash is kind of whitish with swelling it itches and always feels better when warm water runs on it from the shower. When it does pop a brownish looking puss drains out. Once that is over it scares over then goes away

Hi,

It may be abscess on buttock most probably which may be relapsing. Consult the general surgeon and get pus drained after incision and drainage. Culture and sensitive test may be done of pus and accordingly antibiotic may be given by your doctor. Immunity may be poor so, relapses occur. Take the steps to improve general health condition and so the body resistance against germs.
