What Causes Painful, Red Outer Ear With Constant Clicking Sound?

i have been having the worst experience with my ears there clicking and of course the first thing I think is TIC! But then I have what to me would look like a bug bite it hurts bad and really red this is on outer ear I have also experienced inner ear too.

As per your complain it seems that pain in ear with redness of outer ear along with clicking sound that appears like a "CLICK" sound seems to be most probably due to jaw joint problem or Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction commonly known as TMJ OR TMD..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and x ray like Orthopantomogram can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised you to take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, muscle relaxants like Chlorzoxasone and can also be advised mouth guards, mouth splints etc..
Take a soft diet and avoid excess mouth opening..
Avoid stress..
