What Causes Painful Salivary Stones With Dizziness And Dry Throat?
hi im a 19 soon to be 20yr old female 5"4 110lbs.i recently had which i self diagnosed myself with salivary stones which i knew because i could see the stone trying to protrude from under my tongue and the right submandibular gland was very swollen and in alot of pain mostly when eating and would wake up with extremely dry mouth and throat this lasted about 3 days then subsided but after the next day i woke up still with even more dry mouth the swelling was gone and i could eat normally but i was dizzy all day and very lightheaded and very to fall asleep lastnight and when i awoke in middle of night mouth and throat dryer than ever to where it felt like i couldnt breathe and heart was pounding hard finally got back to sleep and woke up today with same feelings all day and now i have a slight fever i dont know if these symptoms have to do with the salivary stonea even tho theyve subsided but im still very concerned and its stressing me out ive never felt so out of it-thanks

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..it could be salivary stones obstructing the saliva flow, it could also be secondarily infected --hence fever and swelling--inflammation...use lemon pepper mints, drink lot of fluids --hydrate yourself,,get x-rays and ultrasound examination done,,you can take antibiotics and analgesics for reducing the inflammation,,you can also get a minor surgery to remove the salivary stone,,hope it helps,,take care..
