What Causes Painful Sore Nose Along With Swelling And Scabbing?
Several times a year I get a sore nose, it swells and scabs, it s very painful. It also is on my upper lip. It wells, if it is dry, scabs and is awful looking. It s aggravated by allergies or when I get sick. I take Lysene orally and put a Lysene ointment on my nose and lip.

By your history and description, possibility of either allergic reaction or viral infection is more likely because both of them cause similar kind of symptoms.
