As per your complain it seems that your daughter is suffering from a severe case of Apthous Ulcers or Canker Sores and white sore bumps on the sides of the tongue and inside of lips along with peeling around it is indicating towards canker sores only.. Other causes that can also have a similar representation and needs to be checked for are herpatic stomatitis and bullous pemphegoid.. The symptoms are not due to strep throat.. Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and at times a clinical evaluation is sufficient for diagnosis, but in case of doubt investigations like oral swab culture and blood tests can be helpful.. As of now to relieve the symptoms you to start gargling with warm saline solution. Gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.. Take a Vitamin B complex daily.. You can take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.. Avoid spicy and hard foods.. Take a soft and bland diet.. You can also suck ice and do cool water rinses Hope this information helps..
