What Causes Painful Stomach Cramps While On Cortisone Shot And Celexa?
hi,i have been suffering for the last three weeks from a tremendously painful stomach reflux associated with incredible weakness and fatigue. I have also been loosing MASSIVE amounts of hair.I am not overweight. I don t eat junk and I don t drink or smoke.I had the flu at the beginning of the year and since then i have not been able to recover. The only thing i can think of is a drug interaction. A few weeks before i got sick i got a shot of cortisone in my arm for an inpinched joint. My doctor prescribed celexa for depression (tool only 10 mg). Could the two combined with some acitominophen/ aleve may have caused my stomach to go bezerk?
please visit an MD physician to find the causes of your troubles. corticosteroids are known to exacerbate gastric or intestinal ulcers and sometimes may cause perforations. get tested for H.pylori and E coli. also antidepressants are known to have multiple drug interactions. visit an MD to find out and rule out the other causes
