What Causes Painful Swelling In The Hands And Feet While Having Rheumatoid Arthritis?
I have R A & lung fibros. My last infusion was in Jan, 2016. My hands , feet, arms, are swelling & very painful. My lung Dr says I can not have any meds or infusionsA Dr thinks I can do infusions. I have said no. Will any. Now because of the pain & swelling, I caan have Embrel or Humeria. Then My RA Dr says I should do infusioons. For a year no meds, (no improvement of lungs) fhe wants to do infusions. May I have an opinion fr one of U?
Yes, I understand you should now start the biological agents (infusion). When the joint swelling and pain is not controlled by 2 drugs then it's time to go for the infusion.
They have git wonderful effects on the joints. It may also help your lungs though not to a great extent.
So I understand you may go for it. I just want to know if you have any fears or concerns that you don't want to the I fusion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
