What Causes Painful Swelling In The Lower Legs?
Hi, Your concern is very right. Though it may not be a clot, ruling out a clot is very important and it should be done on an emergency basis. I think you should go to the ER. Even if dipper is not possible we can do a blood test clued d dimers. If that s normal then there is no chance of a clot. Of that raised then you should be started on injection of heprin until doppler is done. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
