What Causes Painful Swelling In The Upper Lip?
I have a 1/2 of a black tooth. In alot of pain swelling my whole upper lip. The swelling is right under my right nostril the gum is swollen all the way to my check. Been using hot garlic salt to rinse my mouth heating pad helps little takin 1000 tp 2000 miligrams of ibprofen for pain cant afford a dentist or er visit PLEASE HELP

Painful swelling in the upper lip is due to infected tooth. Immediate consultation with dentist is needed. Should not let this way. Apply cold compresses on the swelling part. Unfortunately there is not much you can do at home.
