What Causes Painful Swelling In Wrist Area After Injecting Methamphetamine And Heroin?

I shot heroin and Crystal meth in hand by my wrist n thumb area. A day later it got swollen and is very painful. It is still swollen and painful 3 days later I can barely move my hand and thumb. What do you think the problem is and what solutions are there?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain there is a possibility that you have got an allergic reaction to the drugs that you injected while there is also a possibility that you have caused injury to the soft tissues in the area leading to inflammation and swelling..
It is also possible that you have missed the injection and the drug has been injected under the skin leading to inflammation in the area with the drugs..
I would suggest you to do cool compresses over the swelling..
You should take anti allergics like Levocetrizine..
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Apply a steroid ointment over the swollen area..
In case if there is no improvement in a week consult a general physician and get evaluated..
